![]() I have run the following from command line: ![]() If I go to the file location through DFS or through a mapped drive, I will see the security tab (and other tabs), but am unable to take ownership, I get the following error: "Unable to set new owner ![]() The file is within a share and is linked through DFS. Make sure the disk is notįull or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use." The file is not showing as open in computer management -> shared folders -> open files. Whenever I try and edit the file, I get the following error: "Cannot delete cdir.dao: Access is denied. I have tried deleting/renaming as a local admin on the server and with my domain admin account. Additionally, it does not have a security tab when viewing properties. ![]() I have a domain joined file server (2003 Enterprise SP2) that has a file that will not let me delete it.
